Wichita, Kan. – October 15, 2024 – NXTUS Inc., in partnership with the Northwest Kansas Economic Innovation Center (NWKS Innovation Center), NetWork Kansas, and Grow Hays, announces the launch of its newest program, the Childcare Entrepreneur Growth Cohort. This initiative addresses the need for business development support and operational efficiency among childcare providers in Northwest Kansas, with the overarching goal of fostering meaningful economic impact on the region.
The program was created to provide childcare providers with invaluable resources, support, and mentorship to grow their businesses and enhance everyday operational functions. Likewise, it aims to help providers utilize existing resources to maximize their success. Through a comprehensive 6-week curriculum, cohort members will receive personalized 1:1 virtual coaching tailored to their specific needs.
In addition to coaching, the cohort will engage in bi-weekly workshops, allowing providers to build community among them while concurrently improving their confidence and entrepreneurial skills. Led by facilitators from NXTUS’ extensive network, these workshops will cover a range of topics hyper-customized and prioritized by the cohort members themselves.
“Our goal with this cohort is to meet the unique challenges of childcare providers head-on. By equipping them with essential tools and mentorship, we are paving the way for a lasting impact not only on their businesses, but the broader community as a whole.” said Amber Dunn, Program Manager at NXTUS.
The partnership between the NWKS Innovation Center, NetWork Kansas, Grow Hays, and NXTUS was designed to combine their respective expertise, resources, and networks to create a comprehensive program aimed at empowering childcare entrepreneurs in Northwest Kansas to grow their businesses. By pooling their strengths, the partnership seeks to provide tailored support, guidance, and opportunities for childcare providers, ultimately cultivating economic growth and entrepreneurial success in the region.
“I am thrilled about the potential impact of this initiative, throughout our region. This program is a fantastic opportunity to benefit the providers we serve, meeting them where they are in their business, and collaboratively addressing their challenges to help them thrive," said Scott Sproul, CEO of NWKS Innovation Center.
