Jarvis has guided most startups in the city and state as executive director of business incubator NXTUS Inc. This year, Jarvis and her team helped startups find meaningful connections, mentorship and opportunities with companies like Spirit AeroSystems, Koch Supply Services, Lange Real Estate and Hutton Development — among others — through its NXTSTAGE Enterprise Engagement Series. Jarvis was also an influential organizer at this year's Wichita Startup Week, with events like pitch competitions to help new businesses reach their goals. Jarvis, who went from military to corporate work to community development, continues to position NXTUS as the go-to resource in this region for entrepreneurs and startup founders.
